- Today, as you ascend to Machame Camp which is 9,875ft, you will enjoy beautiful scenery of both Birds and monkeys as you go across the highlands.
- At Machame Camp you will dine and spend the night
Day 3: Machame – Shira

- After breakfast, you will continue hiking through the pine and mountainous rainforest into the moorland, viewing Mawezi, the second major peak of Mount Kilimanjaro
- On steep and grassy tall trucks, you will maneuver through the large stones and giant outstandingly beautiful groundsel and lobelia volcanic rocks.
- You will dine and slumber at Shira Camp which is 12,615ft.
Day 4: Shira – Barranco Camp

- Along this most exhausting stretch, you will see a spectacular ancient volcanic plug- the Lava Tower
- After lunch, descend into the Great Barranco Valley which is 12,990ft, and see the Barranco Camp, sided by steep valley walls.
- See the glowing glaciers which glimmer in the afternoon sunshine
- Dinner and overnight at Barranco Camp
Day 5: Barrango – Karanga Valley Camp

- After breakfast descend into the gorge, before climbing its eastern wall
- View Mountain Kilimanjaro’s eye-catching ice fields that lay close to the equator
- Hike till the Karanga Valley which is 13,240ft
- Camp in the Karanga for dinner and the night.
Day 6: Karanga Valley – Barafu Camp

- On foot you will ascend through the Karanga Valley, following the lava ridge up to Barafu Camp.
- The temperatures will drop and the landscape steepens as you ascend to the Barafu Camp which is 15,225ft where you will rest before heading for the peak the following morning.
- You will dine and slumber at Barafu Camp.
Day 7: Uhuru Peak

- Wake up at midnight for a quick snack, and further ascend to reach the peak.
- Trek between the Rebmann and Tarzel Glaciers to the rim at Stella Point
- At day break reach the peak and watch the sun rise from a height of 19,340 ft.
- Descend to Barafu Camp for a short rest before continuing down to Mweka Camp were you will dine and spend the night.
Day 8: Mweka Camp – Park Gate

- Descend for about 3 hours to the park gate.
- Bid farewell to your guides and caretakers then head back to your hotel and finally depart to Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Day 2: Rongai Forest

- After breakfast, you will be picked from your hotel and taken to Nalemoru Park to complete the formal proceeding of the park.
- You will begin the hiking from the park gate, through the pine and mountainous rainforest into the moorland.
- As you ascend to the Sekimba Camp which is 2,625m high you will be able to see many birds and monkeys
- You will have an afternoon nap, dine and spend the night at Sekimba Camp
Day 3: Kikelewa Moorland

- You will further ascend through the forest up to Second Cave which is a large lava overhang and there you will have lunch
- From the moorlands ascend to Mawezi which is the second most important peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.
- You will dine and spend the night at Kikelewa Camp
Day 4: Mawenzi Tarn Hut

- Following breakfast you will continue to climb up till you reach the rough peaks of Mawenzi Camp which is at a height of 4,300m
- Dine and sleep at Kikelewa Camp
Day 5: Outward Bound Hut

- Walk to the Outward Bound Hut which is at 4,715m, between the peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi
- Enjoy the spectacular peak views of the icy Kibo and the stony Mawenzi
- Get ample rest, lunch and dinner at the camp in preparation to reach the summit the following day.
Day 6: Uhuru Peak
Breakfast and Lunch
- Wake up at midnight, for a quick snack and embark on a long trek making use of your head torches till day break
- Trek past Hans Meyer’s cave to Gilman’s Point and here you will enjoy the stunning sunrise.
- In about 2 hours you will reach the highest mountain peak in Africa- Uhuru Peak
- After a short break of resting and taking photos, you will begin to descend down the hill.
Day 7: Descent to park gate

- You will move further down, across the moorland through the forests, till the Mandara Hut for lunch
- Following some serious hiking, you will be at Marangu Gate in a maximum of 3 hours
- Bid farewell to your care-takers and guides, then head back to your hotels and later proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport

- Go past Gilman’s Point which is 18,640ft and head for the peak.
- Rough Hiking of about 7 hours before we reach the peak at day break.

- Proceed to Horombo Hut for dinner and the night
